Roll, Fill and Close
Set your oven to a hundred and seventy°C (335°F) to preheat.
Rub margarine on the insides of the baking pan. Break the egg, beat it and set aside.
Knead the rested dough for a bit and divide it into 2 parts. One component have to be slightly bigger than the opposite.
Roll out the larger dough to a 5mm thickness ensuring that the diameter of the rolled out dough equals the diameter of your baking pan plus two times the intensity of the pan and then some extra to permit for sealing the beef pie.
Once satisfied, drape the flat dough at the pan and make it snug the internal corners of the pan.
Fill the dough-lined baking pan with the filling.
Brush a few egg on the dough overlaying the threshold of the pan.
Roll out the remaining dough to 5mm thickness and a diameter that is a bit wider than that of the baking pan.
Cover the pan with the rolled out dough and use a fork to seal the edges. Feel unfastened to close the rims any how you want.
Rub the egg on the dough. This gives the pie a golden brown look whilst finished.
Set the pan on a rack within the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or till the pinnacle masking is golden brown. Place the pan toward the bottom heating so that the dough at the lowest of the pan can be nicely completed by the time the pinnacle dough is accomplished.
